MCP Quickstart

Add the Zuse Bifrost MCP server as a Claude connector, sign in, approve the connection and run your first tool call.

By the end of this page Claude is connected to your workspace's MCP server as you, and has answered its first question from the project record. The server address is written as https://mcp.example.test below; use the one your administrator shares.

Add the server to Claude

In claude.ai or Claude Desktop open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector and enter the name Zuse Bifrost and the URL https://mcp.example.test. Save, then press Connect.

Using Claude Code instead? Run claude mcp add --transport http zusegenius https://mcp.example.test, then /mcp → Authenticate.

Sign in and authorize

Your browser opens Zuse Bifrost. Sign in if you are not already, read what the connection will be able to do, and press Authorize. You are returned to Claude with the connector connected.

There is no token to copy: the connection acts as you, on the team you are working in, and renews itself while you keep using it.

Try it

Open a new chat and ask:

List my Zuse Bifrost projects.

Claude invokes the list_projects tool and renders the response. You can also ask:

What changed on project CRM this week, and who changed it?

Which of our webhook endpoints are paused or failing?

Tools that change data ask you to confirm inside Claude first.

Prefer a narrower connection?

Mint a personal access token under Account Settings → API Tokens with only the abilities you want. Start read-only with project:view-any, project:view and activity:read, and configure the client with it as a bearer header. Each client page shows where; connecting Claude covers Claude Desktop and Claude Code.

What if I use Cursor, ChatGPT Desktop, or VS Code instead?

Same server URL, same sign-in, different settings screens:
