DESTRUCTIVE

mark_all_notifications_read

Mark every unread entry of the person's Notifications Center as read in one call.

The bell's "Mark all as read" for agents: every unread entry is marked read in one statement and the tool answers how many it marked. Idempotent: a second call marks nothing and answers 0. Use it when the person has caught up; to clear one entry use mark_notification_read.

Requires ability

The token behind the MCP session must hold it, or the call is refused with TOKEN_MISSING_ABILITY.

Runs the same action as

The REST endpoint and this tool share one action, so validation, permissions and events are identical.

Annotations

DestructiveIdempotent

A client that honours annotations asks a person before running it. Sending the same arguments twice changes nothing the second time.

Arguments

{  "data": { "marked": 3 },  "meta": {}}
