READ

get_sprint

Fetches one sprint by id with everything the list gives and its scope, the work items it holds in the backlog's order with their status and points, plus the points planned and done.

Read one sprint in full before you pick up or add work. Beside the row list_sprints gives, the answer carries items: every work item the sprint holds, in the backlog's order, each with id, reference, title, type, status, priority, story_points and assignee_id; and points_planned and points_done, the points of all its items and of the ones done so far, so you can tell how a running sprint stands against the points it committed to. To move an item into or out of the sprint, change the item's own sprint_id with update_work_item; a sprint that is with the team for its commitment, completed or cancelled takes no more items. A client guest's token reads no sprints, so a sprint it asks for is unknown.

Requires ability

The token behind the MCP session must hold it, or the call is refused with TOKEN_MISSING_ABILITY.

Annotations

Read-only

It reads and never changes anything.

Arguments
