stop_timer
Stops the running timer of the person the token acts as and logs the minutes it measured on its item, with the kind of work, whether it bills and a note, or drops the timer without a log when asked.
Stop the clock when you finish, and the minutes it measured become a log on the item it ran on, rounded up to the minute and capped at a day, dated today in the person's timezone. Give activity (development by default), billable (true by default) and a note on what was done; the answer is the log, as log_time would return it, and work_item.time_logged goes out. Send discard true to drop the timer without writing anything, which answers with discarded and logged false; dropping when nothing runs is not an error. Stopping when nothing runs is VALIDATION_FAILED.
Requires ability
The token behind the MCP session must hold it, or the call is refused with TOKEN_MISSING_ABILITY.
Runs the same actions as
The REST endpoint and this tool share one action, so validation, permissions and events are identical.
Fires one event
Delivered to every endpoint subscribed to it once the change is made.
