Time Logs API

A time log is a stretch of time a person spent on a work item on one day: the minutes, what the work was (development, review, testing, analysis, meeting, support, deployment or other), whether it bills, a note, and how the log came to be, typed in, measured by the timer or imported.

A time log is a stretch of time a person spent on a work item on one day: the minutes, what the work was (development, review, testing, analysis, meeting, support, deployment or other), whether it bills, a note, and how the log came to be, typed in, measured by the timer or imported. Logs are written by the person who worked the time, or for them by someone who may approve time on the project; they are changed and deleted by their owner, or by an approver, until an approved timesheet locks them.

The timer is the one clock a person may have running: started on an item, stopped into a log with the minutes it measured, or dropped. It lives with the person, not the project, so /me/timer reads and stops it from anywhere.

Every read here is the team's; a client guest's token is refused with 403. Every write runs the same action the Time page and the item's flyout run, under the project permissions, and announces itself.
