A project's labels by name, each with its colour, what it means and how many work items carry it; the vocabulary to read before you draft or filter stories.
Return a project's labels by name: the words the team pins on its work items, each with its colour, what it means and how many work items carry it. Read it to learn a project's own vocabulary before you read or draft its stories, to describe the backlog in the team's words, and to name a label by id when you filter work items with label_id. Adding, renaming and removing words stays with people.
Requires ability
The token behind the MCP session must hold it, or the call is refused with TOKEN_MISSING_ABILITY.
Runs the same action as
The REST endpoint and this tool share one action, so validation, permissions and events are identical.
Annotations
It reads and never changes anything.
