The lifecycle of a project's work items: a story, task, sub-task, bug, spike or improvement added, changed, moved along its lifecycle, handed to a person, given new acceptance criteria, put back to an earlier version and deleted. The board, a mirror of the tracker, the Git integration and the people's notifications subscribe to this family.
Every event in the family is scoped to the project, so project_id in the envelope is always set and an endpoint confined to one project receives only that project's events. The payloads are thin on purpose: the ids, the reference and what the transition itself carries, never a snapshot of the item. Read the work items endpoint for the record, its criteria and its versions.
